Do you desire a brighter, whiter smile?

Dental veneers may be the answer you're looking for. With cosmetic dental veneers, Dr. Seidler can create a bright white smile with beautifully aligned, shapely teeth. And you can have the smile you've always wanted.

How do Dental Veneers Work?
A thin layer of material bonds to your teeth correctly the appearance of teeth. The dental veneer material covers up cracks and discolorations as well as fills in gaps for a healthy natural look. The dental veneers that Dr. Seidler uses for his patients are made from porcelain. The porcelain resists stains better and better mimics the light reflecting properties of natural teeth.

What are Porcelain Laminates?
Porcelain laminates, also known as porcelain dental veneers, are thin shells of porcelain that fit over the front of the teeth. These veneers have the unique ability to fully mask unattractive stains while allowing light to pass through. In the same manner that fake fingernails are attached to real nails, the veneers are affixed with an adhesive to the front surfaces of your teeth to keep them in place.

Advantages to Porcelain Veneers
In the same way that bonding solves chipping, gaps, stains, discolorations and crooked teeth, porcelain veneers solve those problems but also have the additional advantage of strength and support. Furthermore, veneers are relatively maintenance-free and more durable than bonding.

What Types of Problems Do Porcelain Veneers Fix?
Veneers are commonly used to fix the following dental problems:

  • Worn down teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Chipped or broken teeth
  • Misaligned, uneven or irregularly shaped teeth
  • Teeth with gaps in between them

If you are looking to mask dark stains or if existing porcelain crowns need matched, porcelain veneers may be the right solution for you.
